The displacement between a virtual hand and the real hand is currently studied to assign weight to a virtual object. Rietzle et al. (2018) and Samad et al. (2019) developed a C/D ratio manipulation and conducted experiments to get an appropriate offset value for weight assignment and an acceptable C/D ratio. Even though these approaches could be effective for short-term simple interactions, the displacement could cause several issues in long-term complex interactions. Therefore, we are working on another method to assign weight to a virtual object that could solve this problem.
